I have been watching more of Mark Crilley’s tutorial videos on youtube and trying to sketch things out as I go. He explains things in a really common sense way that doesn’t condescend newcomers and beginners like myself, you should definately go check him out if you want some help in learning how to draw manga!

Practicing my manga sketches, I swear one day I’ll be good at it.

My first ever manga sketch, digitized on photoshop. Decided to experiment a little with texture overlays, and did a little shading to give it some depth. Again all credit should go to Mark Crilley for the original sketch tutorial, as can be seen in my earlier post here. Go check him out!
