Hopefully today’s What If? cat will appeal to more than just those fond of video games as it was actually inspired by a TV advert showing a cat riding a tortoise. But because this random act of cuteness reminded so much of the chubby Italian plumber Mario, star of multiple Nintendo products, I couldn’t resist drawing what you see above.

I have been watching more of Mark Crilley’s tutorial videos on youtube and trying to sketch things out as I go. He explains things in a really common sense way that doesn’t condescend newcomers and beginners like myself, you should definately go check him out if you want some help in learning how to draw manga!
